Puteri Hills Project And Widening Of Jalan Puteri 11/1

Dear Esmond,

PUTERI HILLS PROJECT AND WIDENING OF JALAN PUTERI 11/1

In reply to your letter ref. FD/G/03(12), dated 2 March, 2012 which was received yesterday.

I, on behalf of the entire Puteri 11 Community, am against and disagreed with your proposal of widening Jalan Puteri 11/1 in relation to the entrance/exit of Puteri Hills.

May I have the initial layout plan that your esteemed company submitted for the Authorities’ grant? - as I wish to know how can the Authority granted the build of a 50 ft. road when the width is not gazette for a MAIN ROAD? To be more precise, how can the Authority grant to your application when it does not comply with the Standard Plan as set for 66 feet?

I doubted very much that the CCC that was produced by your Architect does complied with the Standard Plan or it was the CFO issued by the Local Authority (Majlis) not complying with the JKR’s requirement?

Not only, I am also wondering whether both parties involved did examine the site before drafting your plan as the width of our road does not complied with the gazetted plan and nevertheless, became a Sub-Standard plan.

I have checked with both JKR Daerah & State and the MIP, they confirmed to me that any road which leads to the Highway of 132ft is a Main Road, which Jalan Puteri 11/1 complied to.

It has always been 66 ft. gazette for a Main Road even in the 90’s, although your plan was approved in that period of time, No changes have ever been made till today as confirmed by JKR.

Another most disappointing thing is that IOI has been preaching to their customers of the provision of a LIVEABLE environment. So do you think you are doing so with the making of such a narrow road that has been causing danger and hazardous traffic flow to Puteri 11 and Puteri Bayu’s residents?

We ask you NOT to widen the road until our next meeting as agreed.

Should the next meeting cannot meet any agreement amicably or positive compromises, I will be forced to appeal to Lembaga Rayuan Perancangan Selangor at JPBD Negeri Selangor, to request for further investigation in this matter.

Thanking you.
Yours faithfully,
Alice Choo
