theStar: People’s Voice carnival heads to Bandar Puteri
Come July 17, Bandar Puteri Puchong residents will be given a chance to voice their concerns at The Star’s People’s Voice — You’ve Got the Power carnival.
The fourth edition since the introduction of the year-long campaign in April, the carnival will feature a live broadcast and a Q&A session for the residents to engage directly with their local authorities and agencies.
The idea of signing up for the carnival in the booming township was first brought up by Bandar Puteri 10 (Banyan) Residents Association, which is headed by Alex Wong.
Other residents associations in Bandar Puteri Puchong were roped in later to take part in the carnival together.

Adviser for the residents associations, Datuk Samson David Maman, said the People’s Voice carnival is a proactive effort to address community issues, particularly on making the neighbourhood a safe place.
Besides the dialogue to be moderated by Norina Yahya and RedFM deejay JD, there would be an array of activities and booths to make it a lively event.
If you are a Bandar Puteri Puchong resident and would like to raise your views and concerns, you can reach us via People’s Voice Twitter and Facebook accounts.
The previous three carnivals were held in Bandar Utama in Petaling Jaya, Bandar Botanic in Klang and Taman Seputeh in Kuala Lumpur.
