IN our neighbourhood, Bandar Puteri 11, Puchong, we were proud to celebrate the 54th anniversary of the country's independence.
We worked hard to decorate our roads and houses with Jalur Gemilang, because we believed that our country was unique in its cultural diversity.
What differentiates Malaysia from many other countries is that we are a mix of so many cultures and different religions but co-exist peacefully.
We hoped that flying the flags will make us all feel proud to be Malaysians and strengthen our unity, and lead to stronger bonds and trust in each other.
We want Bandar Puteri 11 residents to be more united and patriotic so that we can move forward together with our country
