This morning the MPSJ officer was write summons to illegally parked cars at the road outside Bayu Puteri Apartment.
The officer agreed that the summons are ineffective and hopefully the residents can discuss with the developer to provide a long term solution.

The developer does nothing as they don't need to negotiate that congested corner day. The people that park there are not helping either, they leave their cars haphazardly placed and choosing to empty rubbish from their cars unto the ground. Notice how filthy the strech is with all the discarded bottles, plastic bags and so on.
ReplyDeleteMany complaints and appeals have been made to IOI to help resolve this parking problems. Their answers were always, go complain to MPSJ as this is no more IOI's responsibility.
ReplyDeleteIOI is not a responsible developer. They do not care if accidents occur. They just push the responsibility to MPSJ. MPSJ draw yellow lines i.e. no parking sign, and issue summons. But the car owners don't care and continue to park illegally. MPSJ do not want to tow away these cars even after we asked them to.
ReplyDeleteMPSJ is doing a roaring "trade" with the Tow Truck Operators towing cars away in the Bandar Puteri shopping area during office hours, that's why they are too "busy" to look after our corner of the world :)
ReplyDeleteplease complaints more to MPSJ. Then you have grounds to call for MP or ADUN and MPSJ representatives to resolve your problems (not enough parking lots) and suggest to the MP or ADUN to utilize the piece of land in front of Bayu as a parking area ! You alone cant do anything. Ask all your neibors and complaint together.
ReplyDeleteThe piece of land in front of Puteri Bayu apartments belong to IOI not MPSJ. IOI will not be so kind to turn it into parking lots. They have said the parking issue is MPSJ's baby. But we must still find a permanent solution.
ReplyDeleteDo not stop complains...though the land belong to IOI. When things get worse, people will start questioning IOI's CSR (corporate social resposiblity). Obviously IOI does not care about residents & environment wellness. Dun no how they can get MPSJ to approve for developement of high-end condo opposite Bayu, ie a small piece of land. And now all other responsibilities are pushed to MPSJ.....
ReplyDeleteHave IOI get the approval? Our protest useless?
ReplyDeleteI went to the IOI sales office last sunday, the sales person told me they going to build an high end condominium and some townhouses...
To RA, may i know what is the status of our protest? Seem like no news on that
IOI sales staff did tell us they are changing from condominium to town houses. But we can only trust them when we see that happening with our own eyes. In the meantime we are closely monitoring their actions. The residents will be informed of any further development.
ReplyDeletePuteri 11 RA
Thanks for the quick response.
ReplyDeleteDo let us know if you need any more help from us (residents).
If the town house project is on, and no sterm action has been taking against those illegal parkings, problem may be worsening as more cars were be park along the road.
ReplyDeleteDear Anonymous Sept. 29, 2010, 3:08 p.m.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your readiness to support the RA. We hope there are many people like you in Puteri 11.
Kind regards,
RA Committee
IOI also have their right. In their original master plan, there are buildings between Bayu & Puteri 11. So, low height town-house may be acceptable, as long as it DOES NOT blocking the view of puteri11 (Nadia, olivia & primrose). Regardless high rise or low rise new town-house, entrance to the new area should NOT be in front of Bayu. Our RA SHOULD stand up for this point. we dun want crowded entrance to Bayu & Puteri 11 !
ReplyDeleteIf construction to proceed and cause some cracks in puteri 11 & Bayu houses, how to protect right as consumer/buyer ?
Our protests against the high rise condominiums is effective or else IOI would have gone ahead to build it. Now they face some difficulties complying with a number of issues raised by our RA at the meetings with MPSJ. Recently IOI informed us that they will build town houses instead!!! We are closely monitoring their actions.

Thanks RA and those volunteers involved. Good to follow up closely. I do not trsut IOI. They just care about $$$$$. they push the restto MPSJ. SP setia is a much more resposible corporate with better CSR.

ReplyDeleteI used to park outside of this location and due to MPSJ summons I decided to rent a parking lot inside Bayu Puteri which cost me about RM400++ for 6 months.
ReplyDeleteThe problem lies within the crowded car for each unit at Bayu Puteri.
The last time MPSJ build an extension in front of Bayu Puteri they build and didnt provide enough parking lot for the apartment. Just imagine each Apartment have 2 cars or if renting with alot of friends will total up 3 - 4 cars.
