Security guard signature consent campaign

Dear All,

Yesterday evening, 10 of our Committee and Residents went house to house for the signature campaign to establish a guarded community. We had very good response from the residents. There were a few houses still vacant and a number of occupants were not in. We covered Jalan 11/13, 11/12, 11/10, 11/8, 11/6, 11/2, 11/1A. Today we will cover 11/11, 11/9, 11/7, 11/5, 11/3 and the few occupied houses in Primrose.

Regards,

Chiam

  2. Yesterday, the RA completed our visit for the signature consents with residents of Nadia and Olivia. Due to time constraint, we did not manage to cover Primrose which we will be visiting this week. Happy to know that the residents agreed to Puteri 11 to be a guarded community.

  3. Hi! RA Committee is it IOI that is providing the sweepers to keep our roads clean in Puteri 11? I notice that there is a lot of sand/small stones in front of my house. I think the sweepers just sweep all these to one corner and left it there.

  4. MPSJ is responsible for sweeping the roads, cutting the grass and they have engaged contractors to do the job. Complaints will have to be directed to MPSJ.

Gated schemes allowed if 51% of residents agree

KUALA LUMPUR: A gated neighbourhood can only be set up with the approval of 51% of the residents, said Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Chor Chee Heung.

He said perimeter fencing and guard houses would not be allowed to be built under the new guidelines for gated and guarded neighbourhood schemes.

He said the local authorities have the right to tear down the fencing and guard houses which caused inconvenience to residents.

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin recently said the guidelines - which were approved and endorsed by the National Council for Local Government - would be imposed with immediate effect on new applications.

Existing gated communities and guarded neighbourhood schemes are exempted.

  6. IOI walks away with security service before primrose's semi-Ds completion. will IOI share the cost of security service once engaged by residents?
