The current RA Committee will retire at the forthcoming AGM. Our members at the AGM will elect a new RA Committee for 2011.
There is a misconception by some members who think that the current RA Committee are interested to serve for another year.
I know that the current RA Committee are prepared to resign voluntarily at anytime. But there must already be a new team endorsed by the members ready to take over.
We had learned from the bitter experience of Puteri 12. When their RA Committee voluntarily resigned there was nobody willing to come forward.
The current RA Committee is doing their final lap of duties and we just want to complete it and hand over to the next RA Committee.
I will not be standing for re-election at the forthcoming AGM. I think it is a good practice that the Chairman's post be rotated every year.
My intention had been made known to our current RA Committee sometime ago.

ReplyDeleteIt is something missing here. You said the current RA will either retired at the forthcoming AGM or to resign voluntarily at anytime. Then why must there be someone to pin point so hard on one of your sub-committee Mr. PC Ng.
Henceforth, when someone is so ready to resign or to retire, the proposal of PC Ng shouldn't be handled with such a big fuss then. WHY? May you be kind enough to explain us this? Thank you.
I read his post and it does not sound to me that he is such a nasty person? So why DEC15, 1.08AM has such kind of hostility toward this person?
As from what PC Ng has said the emails circulated among you people, then the commentator must be a RA committee too.
Whatever it is, here we wish for the best for the community of PUTERI 11.
I too am puzzled like you who is this anonymous person! A lot of rubbish was spoken by this person. That is why I chose to ignore such kind of comments. This person has a bad motive thats all I can say.

Spend so much time to pin point on other weaknesses and always dig back past history....why this and why that. Why cant you all discuss something that is more positive and productive that benefits to the community of puteri 11. Wasted all energy to find faults on others.... I doubt your capability to manage and drive the RA committees to get things done effectively because a good leader do not waste time or energy to address those unproductive issues which bring no benefits to community. Never do anything to step down a person to gain credit for yourself. Maybe it is unitentionally but you have to be responsible for the damages done. I can feel that you are trying to contribute to the community but your action not in line to your direction to build a better RA team. Continue to behave in this kind of manner, will eventually cause with lots of ill feeling.How can we establish a healthy and harmony neighbourhood. Why not you support the current RA ( which will be retire soon)to get things done. You turn to be one of the new RA team will arrive soon...so be patient. Anyway, I appreciate those that in this blog that show keen interest to serve the puteri 11 community but only sad thing that it is handle in the wrong manner. You will be well respected if you can get thing done without any damages or hurt other feeling. Hope my comments never offended you, if yes...then very sorry but i hope you can look at things positively. I'm not speaking on behalf on the current RA or the upcoming new RA. Sorry, you are so DOGMATIC, VISIONARY and SKEPTICAL.
I was rather disappointed the critic you made. Is there any proof that "this person" has a bad motive just because he or she is challenging your competence?
I thought you are at a level higher!(since you can be the Chairman of our association) and you are able to deal with such a problem in a better and more professional way BUT you are not!
You cannot just ignore people comments and leave people hanging in mid air.
People cannot be so pertinacious (persistent) if they do not have good reasons or facts to back them up.
Don't get me wrong, I am trying to be pragmatic with the situation.
Put yourself in this people shoes and what will your reaction be if you have been ignored completely, just like them?
Just give a thought about it!
By the end of the day, what could you achieved being so arrogant and ignorant.
I can tell you I was like that before and I've learned a hard way.
I just hope you can just grow up just like me.
I apologise if I have been hard to you but what I said is what I think.

ReplyDeleteI support you. What you need to do is to ignore all the posting and wait for this coming Sunday meeting. I would like to know who this guy keep complaining and do not give constructive suggestion.
I respect the current RA and your have contributed so much to the Puteri 11 community and your present is noticable.
Also, you need to know the RA can't please everyone. As long as we have majority agreement we should move forward.

I believe he was also referring to that person that talked about PC Ng. He was puzzled who was that person and what BAD MOTIVE he has too. No need to proof. He also don't know. Even if he knew, he wont tell you. So don't ask stupid question to seek for proof, evidence, black and white. We are not under oath to post our comments lah...

Personally i do not care who is that person you so eager to find out. Do you think it is fair to advise the Chairman to ignore ALL the posting while waiting for a meeting to take place. Are you referring that all the posting by other users do not present constructive suggestions just because one user did not.
I've follow this blog and there were good and great suggestions whether critical or in support. I do not know whether the RA acknowledge or accept. However, I do not see any reply so I assume that perhaps RA not interested. This gives negative impression.
This is a blog, and to be fair, once you set it up for the communities, you have to moderate and manage it like it should be, neutral, fair and constructive. This is not a propaganda platform to only display the "FERRARIS" and ignore the "PROTONS" (Perfect, Defect).

Seriously, i do agree with you that all should not waste time doing image assassination here. Either Old or New, both, i believe have pro and cons. No one's perfect.
From my understanding, it is not about being patient and wait for the current office bearer to handover. Im sure its the issues needed to be solved before electing new RA members.
One of the main current issues is the appointment of Security. I read from the blog that someone suggested (A) to elect new RA before appoint security so that no issue. Their argument is that should current RA appoint security now before new RA elected, there may be issues. That i do agree coz you never know what is the agreement between old RA and security especially verbal ones. RA replied not possible due to ROS requirement, etc. Another user suggested (B) to only appoint sec after election so that there will be no issues. No reply from RA as yet.
So, since we are of neutral party, whats your pick? A or B? Please do also give your suggestion to the community.
