TIME: 9.30 AM
First foremost I would like to thank all the 74 residents including the RA committee member who attended this meeting today. This is a unique sign of UNITY and we all should be proud of it.
We have to thank Mr. Tan Jo Hann who chaired the meeting fairly and YB Gobind who has help us in concluding the meeting clearly stating our fear, our request, our needs and far more importantly is our RIGHTS to the entitlement presented by IOI before we purchased our property from them.
Also not forgetting to thank Puteri Bayu Chairman Mr. Victor Chan, who came to join force with us for the protest against the location of the entrance/exit of Puteri Hills and the building of the condominium unit.
This meeting was attended by En Hazman, Timbalan Pengarah Perancang, and Mr. Esmond from IOI and few of their consultants for different aspects and several Ahli Majlis.
Mr. Chiam referred back to the protest they made in 2009, during which 2 meetings has been held to discuss about this issue and Minutes were taken. But, thus far they have never received the 2nd Minute that stated the rejection on the building of condominiums consisting 422 units and hence requested for a copy of it from the Chairperson Mr. Tan.
We then presented on behalf of all our residents to IOI:
- our concerns and fear of negative traffic impact and safety of the community with these new additional residents of Puteri Hills.
- Our request to relocate the entrance / exit of Puteri Hills to Jalan Puteri 11/3 (any suitable spot but not on Jalan Puteri 11/1).
- Our request to have the soil test on the site of the condominium units as a side of our road at the guardhouse is uneven and has sunk slightly, a copy of the report is needed too.
- Strictly and strongly NO condominium unit should be built so there won’t be blockage of view for Primrose’s residents. Not only, had we stressed to IOI that we do not any high-rises to be built at all.
- We also requested to have a copy of the report on the Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA), Slope Stability Analysis (SSA) and Environmental Impact Analysis (EIA) if these have been carried out.
- We highlighted to IOI that Jalan 11/1 is considered as a "Main Road", which should be of 66 ft. wide but it actually scaled at 57 ft.? Therefore we would like to know on which category this road falls into with such an odd width measuring 57 ft. inclusive of the buffer area (28ft is the actual width of the road). Was it the right width then? Was it authorized and who authorized it?
- if they did consider amount of Puteri 12 residents using Jalan 11/1 apart from the number of users from Puteri 11 and Puteri Bayu?
- On top of that we also highlighted to IOI that we have more than 1000 of visitors, contractors, transporters, taxi, etc. (all inclusive) and at least 600 for Puteri Bayu.
- Whereabouts the retention point?
- The building of the 5- storey town houses must not block the view
- We do not want any of their contractors to access Jalan Puteri 11/1 when work starts and if they will make another route / optional route for the accessibility of the contractor, crane etc.
- We also requested them to build CLUB HOUSE instead of townhouses.
- if the main entrance/exit of Puteri Hills be relocated
- to abolish the current plan for the condominium units.
- To build Club House for Puteri’s community
- To show us the actual drawing of the Town houses with complete scale and height.
- To advise us if there is any project in our nearby vicinity programmed for future.
We need to support one another in order to win this protest.
UNITY IS STRENGTH
God Bless Puteri 11!
Alice Choo
Chairman
