Thanks for your keen interest in our RA. I hope you will come on board the RA Committee at our 2nd AGM to be held early next year. I also look forward to seeing some new faces joining you in the Committee to bring in some fresh oomph.
Frankly, I don't think my leadership matters that much. More importantly is the support and encouragement from the residents that will determine the success of the RA. It is also the hard working volunteers such as Alice who came forward to sacrifice their personal time and energy for the benefits of our community that really matters.
On the question of accounts, the RA do not publish monthly accounts for the members unless it is absolutely necessary to do so. We shall be tabling the audited accounts of the RA at the forthcoming AGM. Perhaps then you may propose how timely the members wish to view the accounts.
Since we are now collecting a substantial sum of money this month, I will be presenting a special report on our year-to-date collections and expenses at the end of the month. The report will be posted on our website for members to view.
Should you still wish to seek some sort of documentation and transparency beyond a reasonable doubt, I think it is only appropriate that you disclose your name and house address as stated in the membership form for our reference.
I hope we can communicate on a face to face basis. I do not feel comfortable talking to strangers on such a matter. I am a very approachable person and is easy to get along. Please feel free to contact me at anytime.

There is a house (no 32) which is opposite where i stay.
Every Sat nite, they allow kids to play in front of their car porch at 12 pm till sometimes 1 am in the morning.
they are rather noisy which affects my sleep and my children as well.
as i do not know them, is it possible to highlight this to the parents & owner of house 32 jln 11/12 ?

ReplyDeleteOur Rules stipulate that the AGM must be held no later than 30 April each year. The first AGM was held on 25 April 2010. The RA was registered on 6 November 2009.
We plan to hold our second AGM early next year, after the Chinese New Year holidays in February.
You will receive the Notice of Meeting with the Agenda in due course.
