That's a wise move. But I see the security guards at Puteri 11 are not too strict, they just allow access to anyone who just "tabik" at them. Anyway kudos to this website, hope more people will be involved for safekeeping the security of the housing area.

Dear RA , can you share with us a few recent incidents that you have mentioned ?
ReplyDeleteI can't remember when, but whenever I'm leaving the area and I see cars entering without a sticker, the guards just let them pass. I mean the guards should be taking down names or IC of the cars without sticker, right? And while I was doing my daily jogs, I do see a lot of cars without stickers, parked nicely at the "lorong" next to the field.
ReplyDeleteNot trying to point fingers, but hoping the guards will beef up the security, since a lot of cases happened at Puteri 12. Better be safe than sorry, ya?

A few houses in Puteri 12 were broken into last month. It happened during daytime when there were no one in the houses. Their RA suspected the burglars were well dressed Chinese men driving expensive cars like BMW, Mercedes, Camry, Accord pretending to be potential buyers of the bungalow houses. We should be extra alert when we notice such strangers driving around our Puteri 11 neighbourhood.
ReplyDeleteRA Committee.
A few houses in Puteri 6 were also broken into last month. Bandar Puteri RAs are having a dialogue/meeting with the Selangor Police this coming Sunday. We will discuss the crime situation in Bandar Puteri and how the Police and residents can help to reduce it.

Please apply the same tight security process at Bandar Puteri 11 before it become a victim of theft.
ReplyDeleteIf Bdr Puteri 11 allows any Tom,Dick or Harry to enter, it will defeat the purpose of having a good security at Bdr Puteri 12.
I have not seen an improvement @ Bdr Puteri 11. And this is not the first time I am seeing the same topic.
I really hope RA could really speak to the Guards soonest possible & ensure its enforce.
Puteri 11 security guards are engaged by IOI. Many complaints had been made to IOI concerning their unsatisfactory services over the past two years. IOI had also changed the security companies afer receiving our frequent complaints. Yet we are still face with the same issue after that.
ReplyDeleteFrom 1st December 2010, IOI will hand over the security to Puteri 11 residents, after having provided the services on goodwill basis for the past two years (refer to IOI notice).
Our RA is calling for a meeting with the residents this Saturday 9th October (refer meeting notice) on this matter. You all must attend and collectively decide what you want for Puteri 11 future security requirements.
