  1. I am not going to contribute any fee for the I am not stingy nor selfish. I just don't believe in the ways they handle the event.

    1. Even with some control, people who didn’t pay for the event can still come. Look at event organized by other Taman, outsiders still can eat free without paying anything. Puteri 11 will be worse.

    2. I get better food by being closer with my neighbours, invite each other and alert each other of any uninvited guests around.

    3. I have putting extra precaution measure around my house and no uninvited guest can approach our house.

    4. The organizing committee is of low quality. Most likely they will open the event to anybody who raises his hand.

    5. It is illegal. Not all are celebrating Mooncake Festival so you cannot force people to pay for the fee. If you really want to have the mooncake festival celebration, go move to other Taman who is organizing the event.

    6. Most likely less than 50% of houses will pay to join the event. Why should I subsidise for other people?

    7. IOI is still building new houses around Puteri 11 and outsiders are going to move in/out freely. The organizing committee cannot stop any outsiders from coming to join the mooncake festival celebration.

    8. The contribution may be small amount to you guys but it is a lot to me. When I bought this house the developer told me I do not need to pay to join any festival celebration.

So stop calling me stingy/selfish. You guys are the selfish ones for forcing me to pay for a festival contribution that I don't want.

    Leave me alone.

  2. You are a joker...but a lousy one. You are banned form joining in the moon cake celebration. It is only meant for people who are interested and who can afford to pay for it.

  3. The moon cake festival event is actually proposed by a group of elderly residents with children and grandchildren who are keen to organise it. It is also a good way for them to get to know more of their neighbours and fellow residents. The funds will come from them and those who are keen to participate. The RA is lending a helping hand in terms of suggesting some ideas and publicising the event. It is also an opportunity for RA to recruit new members.
