2)  UNCLEARED CHOPPED PLANTS

It has been an eye sore to see all these chopped plants still laying around our Taman
for weeks as our Contractor claimed to be extremely busy planting plants elsewhere.
I have been pressing on the contractor to clear these trash almost everyday and he
promised to have them clear on this Saturday.

I assure you that a hard complaint will be sent to MPSJ if he fails to fulfill his promise.

I thank you for your kind understandings.

================================================================================

3)  RA GRIEVANCE

To those residents whose request to have their plants chop were not attended by the Contractor because
first our contractor and RA has agreed to a sum of money for chopping only the replaced plants along Jalan
11/1A and in the playground, no more no less!

Therefore any residents who wish to have them plants chopped were required to pay the charges themselves
as this is not RA responsibility to do so.

Unfortunately we do have a resident was making a hoo haa thinking RA stopped the Contractor
from doing him or her a favour, which is untrue and nevertheless this resident then refused to pay up
     his/her security fees.

FYI pse, those that have their plants chopped paid from their own pocket instead.

We did ask the Contractor to help but were rejected as they wanted extra payment, which we did not
     agree upon.

We are just being careful, honest and fair to every resident coz whatever money spend is your money!
We do not wish to be taken for granted nor any resident to take advantage of the situation!

We hereby ask you all to have a clear and better understandings on RA tasks and responsibility, which
do not include your personal needs or problems, although we did try to give a helping hand!

So we thank you again if that particular resident can kindly have a good, fair and conscientious thought
as nothing is easy for RA though it seems to be! I can assure you!

     Thank you

     Alice and all Committee Members

Dead Trees

Alice,

Refer to photos, let me bring to your kind attention pertaining to this tree. It was planted by developer when I moved in and now it belongs to ‘Majlis’ coz its rooted in a public area next to my corner unit. For unknown reason, it’s now ‘dead’ I believe.

Couple weeks ago, you did a landscaping exercise by cutting down trees and re-planting palm trees contributed by Prasarana, if I am not mistaken those trees were given FOC to many Tamans as replacement since the MRT works require them to cut down trees around Puchong area.

During one of the days while your contractors were cutting down the trees, I seek their assistance to help me remove it coz they have all the tools to do so. Not only that, I knew it’s wrong to remove or cut down any trees without ‘Majlis’ approval, I never ask anyone to cut it down previously. But since your contractors were doing it, I believe they were instructed with approval to do so. I even spoke to you same day and seek your assistance and you said OK and will do that later. At the same time you HIGHLIGHTED to me that these contractors were engaged with RA FUNDS to do RA’s work, not personal.

Today, this ‘dead’ tree remain standing. Are you doing anything about it? It puzzles me why you can cut and re-plant trees for some corner units using RA funds but not this one dead tree even though I seek the assistance from you? I never asked you for personal favour because this tree was planted in a public area!!

Just wondering any reasons why you practice double standards? FYI, I paid my monthly contribution promptly? Or giving you the benefit of the doubt, maybe you’ve forgotten about it, even though you stay just BEHIND me?? Since you CLEARLY HIGHLIGHTED to me that RA’s fund were used to do all these works, so am I not entitled to a little bit of help, in this case removing a tree? Or, is it you to decide what to do or not what to do for only certain privilege few?

Since you ignore my request, my only option is to HIGHLIGHT this matter in this blog. Whether or not you can assist, I shall leave it to you. IF you decided to seek the contractors help to cut down the tree, I appreciate it BUT please don’t go around telling other people that you are using RA Funds to HELP CUT DOWN ANNE’s ONE DEAD TREE. Doesn’t it make sense to do it last time!! If you decide not to do it, please do reply me so I can do so myself. I do not wish to get into trouble with the authority by cutting down tree without approval. Look forward to your reply.

Letter To Mpsj Perancangan Regarding Puteri Hills Project

Re: PUTERI HILLS PROJECT

With references to numerous correspondences we have had in the past year regarding our protest to the captioned project and also the postponement of the recent meeting of 18th January, 2013, 5PM at JKP Zone 16 cabin with the Jab. Perancangan and the developer to finalize the deal in enhancing and improving the condition, so that our quality of life will not be jeopardize.

First foremost we would like you to re- arrange us an urgent meeting between you and the developer as the build of this project seems to be progressing quite actively and rapidly, and nevertheless our developer has yet to present us the newly submitted plan for the road and it’s building before you will allowed them to go ahead with the development as agreed during our last meeting on the 6 September, 2012.

Furthermore, I the undersigned have attended to your office asking for copy of the Minutes for the Meeting held on 16 February, 2012, 28th March, 2012 and 6th September, 2012, but to our dismay En. Shahrin said that they cannot locate copy of these Minutes.  Our CR Chang Kim Loong AMN has requested for the same document and was told of the same thing.

This is rather astonishing to see how inadvertent is your staff attitudes and sense of responsibility to have been so carelessly misplace an important document stated all agreements made between us and the developer.

In view of this, may I ask you;
  1. What’s the purpose to have Meetings between the involved parties?
  2. What’s the purpose to have the deals/agreement minute when it is meant to be LOST?
  3. If this is what the normal practice OF  loosing Minutes by your office, in order to deferred our right to fight to enhance the condition of the interrupted area?
Regret to say that we felt that En. Hazman has been deliberately neglecting the fact that this project has been approved without looking into various crucial factors likewise;
  1. this project is built on a slope categorized “Class 3” whereby certain guidelines and restrictions are applicable.
  2. Our MAIN ROAD has been built under a Sub-Standard Plan, which measured less than the usual 66 feet
  3. The location of the Entry/Exit of Puteri Hills should not be located 100 meter lower and is facing Puteri Bayu Apartment on same curvy road on Jalan Puteri 11/1.
We do not wish to stop the development but we ONLY wish to have the enhancement agreed by our Developer be enforced and fulfilled.

WE WANT AND DEMAND FOR THE SAFETY ON THIS ROAD FOR ALL USERS, SO MATTER HAS TO BE DISCUSSED WITH UTMOST URGENCY.

We, therefore do not wish to wait any further and hope that you will come back to us for a new Meeting date at the earliest possible before this project progresses and it is too late to apply the agreements for upgrading discussed in the lost Minutes of our last meeting.

We hope you will treat this issue with your utmost fairness and be justified to us all the Tax Payers and also the Stakeholders to this affected zone.

Thanking you.

Yours faithfully,

Alice Choo

Re: Basketball Court for BP 11

With reference to our initial application made on the 7th February, 2011, and 30th May, 2011 respectively to the captioned issue.

As you have agreed verbally to allocate us the budget in making this court for 2013 and no further application letter is required.

Owing to this, we wish to have your advice and confirmation when can the budget be released to build the basketball court for the teenagers in our Taman, who have been penalised with no recreational ground for their sport.

I thank you very much for your kindest attention and an early reply from you will be highly appreciated.

Yours faithfully,

Fused Lamp Lights

Dear Sirs,

Can you kindly send your techinician to check the fused lamp along Jalan Puteri 11/1A (between Jalan Puteri 11/8 and 10)?

Also please ask your technician to attend to our whole Taman Street Lamps as the lights have been lighting ON and OFF very frequently.

It is not fuse of bulbs but we suspect such On and Off incident is caused by either the Timer or cable problems.

Therefore please kindly instruct your Appointed Technician to our Taman at your earliest possible.

Thanking you,

Jkp Zone 16 Funding P11 - Ramp & 7 Marble Benches.

Dear resident,

I will have the photos of the ramp, marble benches and palm trees posted on FB and blog once the Contractor has completed with the planting of the new plants in and within our Taman.

We have to be thankful to JKP Zone 16 Chairman Cr. Chang Kim Loong AMN who has helped me alot in this achievements too as he allocated the JKP 16 funds to let us have what we needed (the ramp for old folks, invalid and babies on pushchair).

I repeat, these were not Dato Loo Yeng Peng's Achievements claimed by some of our residents as these projects by JKP Zone 16 instead.

Cheers!
