Blog objectives

This blog is created to highlight issues and happenings at Puteri 11 that affect all of us owners. All owners are welcome to voice out and contribute to make Puteri 11 a better place for all of us to live in.

It just so happens that irresponsible dog-ownership is one issue that affects all of us and it can be easily resolved by proper owner-education. We can't force anybody to do anything if he/she persists on doing it.

There are also other issues that we need to tackle together like security, speeding, parking, the proposed high-rise condo, etc. These issues are not easy to resolve and will take time and may even require sacrifices from all of us, like more strict security checking when entering Puteri 11.

It is never the intention of this blog to create any ill-feelings between owners. If it does, I apologise and will cease from any future updates.

Right or wrong, everybody is welcome to voice out in this blog and also during our weekly committee meeting. We encourage lively chats and debates. That's why this blog allow anonymous postings.

Hopefully from our contributions, Puteri 11 will indeed one day become a better place for us and our families.

  1. I wish to highlight a irresponsible house owner who stays in 23 Jalan Puteri 11/12.

The owner owns a black Doberman dog. Every night the dog will howl (not bark) eerily by itself. I understand if it barks at someone if nearby the house as it is suppose to protect but this is not so.

Secondly, every morning around 4-5 am, the dog will play with an big iron plate (probably where the food is used to feed it) thus waking the whole neighbourhood along that street.

I can't understand why the owner is not doing anything about it to prevent all these noises as i am awaken by these noises every night & morning.

Small polite notes have been left in the owner's letterbox but still no improvement.

I am seriously considering highlighting this case to MPSJ if this continues as my school-going children have been affected as well.

Perhaps maybe, can residents of Puteri 11 offer some suggestions to resolve this issue ?

  2. hey learn to be tolerant towards your neighbours man, dogs like to play with his plate, just like your kids love to play with their dolls or balls ?

  3. hey u who hv the dobermann, y can't u be considerate & take away the plate everynite & let it play with something that wl not disturb ur neighbour.... there so much tolerence one can take. what if you r the one affected? wl u do anything?

  4. frankie the neighbour basher, this is very subjective le, its just like if you like to play with your balls, and your mom takes away n ask u to play with rubber dolls instead how would u feel ? come on, be compasionate to the animals man

  5. I suggest the committee to visit this 2 neighbours equally to make and sound out the necessary concerns, yes dog is making noises, and neighbour is suffering; so what is the best way to deal with this ? continue to cyber-bash doggies and owners in here ? whereas the owner please do not over react, if anything happens to your dog owning neighbour, who would be his first guess of complaint;
it is always harder to tolerate and easier to complaint, be a good example too....to be or not to, you decide :D

  10. For Mr/Ms Compassionate Dog Lover who is bashing Frankie

Does you kids play with dolls or balls at 4 am in the morning loudly & wake the whole street in the neighhourhood ?

Maybe you should ask your neighbour’s dog to make noise as loud as possible so that you can tolerate it, huh ?

P.S stop bashing Frankie and others who are being objective

Hello...are you saying that you are doing the right thing keeping all your neighbours up all night so that the burglar will not rob them. hahaha you are so PATHETIC.

  13. i agree with "responsible dog owner said" ...

he/she is not only pathetic but stupid & dumb by suggesting stupid dogs who play with iron plates in the early morning will keep robbers away and their neighbours frustrated the next morning

unlike "responsible dog owner", i won't laugh but cry for for the stupid person's comments

  14. pathetic is just your cowardice remarks, what I do exactly does not require the majority approval, I own my place and my space is my right, so what happens within, it is non of your business; you can go on saying what you want, but it aint going to change my life habits, like wise my dog's :P

  15. wow, what is happening, why are there so many nasty remarks in this blog; can some 1 please stop all this nasty remarks, it looks very childish for all these scoldings and demeaning remarks happening in the blog, dear all, if you think the owner is wrong or not co operative, approach and talk it out, not just some cyberspace attacks, this is getting no where and all it reflects, a plenty a lot of young and childish acts going around, stay cool and peace out.

  16. yes u can do whatever u like in ur hse but u r distrubing the peace here. The Law of MPSJ require all dogs to hv a dog permit every year. To hv this permit u need the approval of ur neighbours ( signed on the application form)
If ur dog do hv a permit now...do u think u wl be able to get it next year? Ur neighbour wl not sign the form for u period. See what u wl do then...:p MR SELFISH

  17. I think the owner got all the messages from here but he/she just doesn't want to admit that his/her dog is disturbing the neighbour.

Your neighbour is quite polite to let you know the problem by dropping a note to your mailbox, but why don't you do something about it instead of being nasty and scolding people around like this.

I'm also a dog owner, to let you know that the only thing that i'm always afraid of is my dog been poisoned and to prevent such a horrible thing to happens to my dog, I have to be a responsible dog owner.

People don't mind to have dogs around in Puteri 11, but we (dog owners) have to learn how to live with people peacefully. Just try to listen to your neighbour a bit, it's not a hard thing to do...just try

  20. I agree with MPSJ.

Padan muka to Mr 23 !

Let’s see if he can continue with his “life habits, like wise his dog's”

The jury has spoken (most in support rather than agreeing with selfish 23).

Let’s hear from MPSJ what they would say and you will expecting a visit from them

This happens when you live in a community, you have to be considerate rather than doing what you only like

P.S Don't shit in your pants, pls

  22. concerned neighbourhood lawyerSeptember 4, 2009 at 9:31 PM

It seems that even in a nice neighbourhood like Puteri 11 there are still irresponsible, selfish and rude folks! "sad". I have a dog myself and understand how to compassionate to dogs but the owners must be responsible too. Looks like Mr Anonymous dog lover No 23 is NOT judging by his rude, arrogant and ah long type remarks! I also live nearby and its true, the dog's behaviour is really annoying but the owner is worse for not doing anything to solve the problem!!
Regardless of whether he has a licence for the dog, authorities can take action against owner for causing nuisance to the neighbours. Worse case, take away the dog and fine the owner. PLEASE...!!! if you are really the dog owner be a real person and take positive action otherwise negative action would be taken against you!!!!

  23. As a resident in Puteri 11 may I highlight that even as a gated community our lamp posts are all installed with crude advertisement cardboards. It really makes the neighbourhood look so cheapskate. I have lodged complaint with IOI asking them to remove these crude advertisement signboards. Can the committee liaise with IOI as well.
    Thanks

  24. Hi Everyone,
I am a resident of Puteri 11. I think that setting up the RA, the protest against the proposed high-rise condominium, the setup of touch and go, security guards are all important initiatives which should carry on.

My only concern as a resident is some of the actions above require lots of time, and are not quick to resolve. Instead of waiting for these things to happen/time to past, lets concentrate on easy action items which can be closed ASAP before we have too much on our plates.

One of the things that be solved easily is speeding. The number of cars i observed speeding along Puteri 11 is amazing, from motorbikes, cars, pick up trucks...etc.

Some of these people are residents, and should be more responsible, while others are visitors or contractors.

Just a few days ago, I witness a car speeding at almost 90 KM/h from Puteri 12 access road, downhill to Puteri 11 and leaving via our guard house. The car almost hit an old man who was having his evening walk.

Few months back, a car (also speeding) almost hit a child who was walking with his parents.

I have seen cars driving so fast, endangering lives of elderly people, dogs and even children. When must we take action, should we wait till someone gets hit by a car which is very typical of Malaysians to be reactive instead of proactive.

I propose we seriously consider speed bumps, for each lane we should have 2/3 speed bumps and for the main road that connnects Puteri 12 and 11 going out to the guard house we should have several at every alternate intersection to a housing area road.

Please consider ASAP before someone gets hurt.

  25. Also just to add, I have called IOI 3 months back to enquire about how to go about setting up speed bumps.

According to them, IOI cannot do so because MPSJ will remove them. They quoted an incident when the setup the speed bump near the access road of Puteri 12 to Puteri 11 somewhere last year. MPSJ removed it stating that permission must be obtained from the residents of that Taman before they can proceed setting up speed bumps.

I dont know if this makes sense. But I noticed Puteri 12 has done it amazingly and I dont see cars speeding, and even if they speed, they need to stop as there are so many speed bumps along the way.

We as residents can engage people to set up these speed bumps which to me, is the most important and easy quick fix which will save 'LIVES'
